home. Truly unique; truly democratic!
Truly hospitable and warmhearted has this home and its
mistress and master been to scores of Icelanders, newly come to
this country, as well as to those who came a long while ago, and to
those whose only ties with the homeland are ancestral. All were
and are welcome, all receive the gracious courtesy, all experience
the magnetic personality of this artistic lady who has devoted so
much of her time and energy to create understanding and sympathy
between the land of her birth and that of her adoption.
