The Director of Flight Operations reports to the Accountable
Manager and has to be approved by ICETRA.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
• To hold or have held a valid flight crew license for any Boeing 737 aircraft type
• Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety
standards and safe operating practices
• Comprehensive knowledge of the applicable EU safety regulations,
requirements and procedures and familiarity with management systems
preferably in the area of aviation
• Applicable management experience
• 5 years of relevant work experience (2 years in aviation minimum)
• Excellent English proficiency and general computer skills with an ability
to produce timely and legible reports
• High personal ambitions and leadership abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude towards work and colleagues
• Strong problem-solving skills, and a “yes we can” attitude
• Monitor the performance of the Flight Operations Department with regard
to quality, safety, security, and technical requirements
• Responsible for the management and supervision of flight operations and
crew training in accordance with regulatory requirements, including checking
line standards across the fleet
• Liaise with ICETRA on all matters covering company operations
• The selection and recruitment of all flight crew including the designation of
aircraft commanders and training personnel
• Oversee the maintenance of all company required records for flight operations
and training ensuring all crews are properly licensed and authorized
• Controlling subcontractor’s standards, including legal and disciplinary matters
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO)
We are looking for a COO who will be responsible for the
company‘s operational activities and performance – in accordance
with regulatory and safety requirements, financial performance and
company processes and procedures.
The COO Reports to Chief Executive Officer. The COO is
responsible for ensuring safe, reliable and efficient management
of the airline. The position‘s responsibilities will include operations
in Maintenance and Engineering and Safety, as well as in Air
Operations and Ground Operations. The COO will be instrumental
in the financial performance, evolution and growth of the airline.
