and as soon as he stretched out his hands, then the water
was poured onto his hands, as if a person were pouring— 24

and all kinds of drink and food. He thought himself as 27
magnificently served as the most magnificent chieftain, but
he saw no man. As soon as he was full, then the table went

there and sat down there on a lovely chair.
Now it was evening, and he thought about where he should
get a bed for the night. Next there appeared two large 33
torches with a lovely flame. Then he thought that they must
have come there for that purpose, to show him to bed. He

in the hall, and he went there then and sat down on an
excellent chair.
Now the day was advanced, and he wanted to go to bed,
if he could find one. When he had sat for a while, there
appeared there then candles with lighted flames, and it
