Thirty-second. Annual Convention of the Lutheran Women’s League of
Manitoha (Icelandic) held at Winnipeg, First Lutheran Church, under the
auspices of the Ladies Aid, Women’s Association and the Dorcas Society,
June lst, 2nd and 3rd, 1956.
Friday, June lst, 2.00 p.m.
Mrs. Elizabeth Bjarnarson, President, formally opened the
convention.

Address of Welcome.............Mrs. Margaret Stephensen
Response to Address ......Mrs. J. Finnbogason, Langruth
A period of silence and the reading of the Lord’s Prayer was
observed in memory of those deceased in the last year: Mrs. Mar-
grjet Albertson, Husavik; Mrs. Ella Sigurdson, Husavik; Mrs. Gud-
run Stevenson, honorary member from Bru; Mrs. Johanna Thordar-
son, Mrs. Sigurlaug Johnson, Mrs. Sigridur Hannesson, all of the
Ladies Aid of the First Lutheran Church.
Business meeting until 5.30.
Dinner 6.00 p.m., parlours First Lutheran Church. Vote of
thanks, Mrs. Anna Magnusson.
