• Háskólamenntun á sviði rafmagnsverkfræði eða
rafmagnstæknifræði

Tradewind is looking for an experienced sales representative to source new clients and act as the relationship
manager to existing clients in Iceland. An ideal candidate will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, have
a trade finance background and/or have experience in international sourcing, trading firms or wholesalers.
• Originates, structures, negotiates, and closes finance
deals with owners and C-Suite level points of contact
at the prospect company
• Meets or exceeds defined new business goals and
targets
• Maintains an accurate CRM reporting system,
completes regular business reports on a prompt
basis, and adheres to all other company policies and
systems
• Represents the company as the brand ambassador
in Iceland, upholds highest ethical standards, and
presents a positive image to the marketplace
• Supports marketing, operations, and other
departments by offering information, advice,
opinions, and expertise on the region
Duties and responsibilities:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in trade finance,
international sourcing/trading/wholesaling, or other
directly relevant experience
• Bilingual/Multilingual required. Fluency in English is
required
• Trilingual with above 2 languages + Norwegian/
Swedish/Danish is a plus
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Developed knowledge of trade finance, banking, and
lending is required
• Self-starter, self-motivated, high energy, and highly
organized
• Strong knowledge of the seafood industry preferred,
expertise in other industries also welcome
