1961 as also the aggregate number of deaths from each disease during
the same period.

Deaths from tuberculosis this year are classified as follows (last year’s
figures in round brackets): Pulmonary tuberculosis 2 (4), tuberculosis
°f central nervous system 0 (0), tuberculosis of intestines 0 (1), tubercu-
losis of the urinary and generative organs 0 (0). The death rate from
tuberculosis was lower than in the previous year: 0.01 (0.03) per 1000
of the population.

These figures are based upon monthly reports from physicians, but
