ing Partalopi. “He is my squire,” Partalopi said. They now
stopped this talk and were there this night in great merri- 27
ment.
In the morning they got ready to leave the castle—
Partalopi and Urækia—with their company to go to Uræ- 30
kia’s quarters. She rode to the hall of Marmoria and went
immediately before her and greeted her with a pleasant face
and a laughing heart and spoke: “May God grant you good 33
days and permit you to live according to your desires.”
Marmoria answered: “What is the cause of your pleasant-
