Biographies are left out, excepting the auts-biographies of physi*
cians resident in the Faroes who have become doctores medicinae, in
the prospectus or memorial volumes of the University of Copenhagen,
— and of Danish physicians who have obtained the same degree on
subjects taken from the Faroes. Besides, nr. 54 and nr. 212 are to be
found in the bibliography.
Of statistics are mentioned nr. 53 and nr. 153. Besides only statistics,
attached to certain treatises are mentioned — nr. 220, 302, 303, 304,
and 305.
Legislation, too, is left out. Regarding newspaper articles, only 3
passages are taken. Nr. 154 on the frequency of accidents in the Far»
oes, because an extract of this is to be found in Ugeskrift for Læger,
1892, nr. 412 and nr. 211, because the latter of these two articles is
the only work in the Faroes on school doctors.
Nr. 292 and nr. 175 are mentioned on account of their facilitating
the study of the great work reviewed in these numbers. In addition is
mentioned nr. 378 on nr. 294, because it originated new contributions
on both sides. Otherwise there are no reviews here of any book treatise.
The Faroese medical bibliography is in 2 parts: A, a list of names,
containing the names of the autors alphabetically arranged, and B, a
subject index. A is the main list, and referred to in B.
