a continuous ice margin is extending 270° and
90° true as far as sighted.
2/o Ægir 0900 z: A compact ice margin ex-
tends from 6755/2135 to 6803/2008, thence
curving in northerly direction.
18/e The eastern limits of ice fields and
drift ice were extending roughly from 6510/
3710 to 6535/3400 to 6740/2730 to 6730/2500
to 6830/2130 to 7000/2000. The concentration
within the limits was 0.3 to 0.9 with many
leads and areas of open water.

to 6720/2515 to 6754/2600. Ice floe (brash)
two miles wide (due W of Cape Straumnes)
at 6624/2425 to 6624/2640.
18/9 Ice limits off the Greenland coasts were
observed from 7000/2015 to 6915/2140 to 6825/
2430 to 6803/2715 to 6723/3120 to 6615/3340
to 6530/3540 to 6512/3710. Icebergs (60 m and
below): 6618/3320, 6630/2345, numerous at
6730/3035.

berg sighted at 6540/3110.
