That I know, that my joy will never be so great that I can
see Partalopi, because you told me he was dead.” Urækia
48 spoke: “He was sitting on that black horse yesterday, whom
all called the best knight, and he is now in iny quarters.
Now have all your chieftains called together tomorrow,

The following morning she had it done. When they came,
they said to her that “that knight who won the victory

husband and for us for a chieítain, if we find him.” She
asked for the king of Franee to be summoned to her, and
