President's Report
INGIBJORG S. GOODRIDGE
Greetings . . . Once again it is my privilege to bid welcome the
Delegates and friends to a Convention of the Lutheran Women’s
League. We are most happy to be here in Argyle. It was with
distinct pleasure that the Executive accepted the invitation of the
Argyle Ladies Aids to be their guests and to hold this thirty-ninth
Annual Convention here in this flourishing community. The
warmth of the hospitality of this district is indeed well known.

Synod, has become a part of the large forest, the Lutheran Church
in America. We have now become an integral part of the larger
unit whose sole purpose is to further the Kingdom of God on earth
and to be brothers in Christ, despite a divergence of language and
culture. We find that all who have come together into this new
Church body, were full of misgiving and hesitation, but during
the discussions which have taken place, these doubts have been,
