When is it indicated?
1) During and following the menopause
Dumogran is indicated for prompt relief from the clinical
symptoms of the menopause, such as emotional instability,
hot flushes, sweating, insomnia, headaches, and peripheral
vascular disturbances. The sequelae of the menopause,
while often less striking than the early symptoms, may be
far more distressing and damaging. The lowered supply of
anabolic steroids following the menopause may be inade-
quate to provide for the metabolic needs of protein and
ossesous tissues.
2) During and following the male climacteric
3) Tissue atrophy and/or mild psychic disturbances in geriatxdc
patients
4) Protein depletion and chronic debility following malnutri-
tion, trauma, surgei'y, or prolonged illness in patients of
any age
5) Osteoporosis (postmenopausal, senile, and other types)
What ís the dosage?
The average adult dosage is two tables daily. Dosage should
be increased or lowered in accordance with individual responce.
How is it supplied?
Dumogran (Squibb Anabolic Hormones with Vitamins and
Minerals) is supplied as capsule-shaped tablets in bottles of
60 and 250.
