102 LÆKNABLAÐIÐ sustáined a myocardial infarction and a rupture of the interventricular septum during or short time after a cholecystectomy. Cardiac catheterisation and coronary arteriography one month later revealed a small shunt (1.4:1) and minimal narrowing of the right and 80% narrowing of the circumflex coronary artery without any occlusion. The patient has since been treated medically, and is asymptomatic at present time, three years after the myocardial infarction. Only one case of rupture of the interventricular septum after a myocardial in- farction with patent coronary arteries has so far been reported in the English and Scandi- navian litterature. Clinical features, diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of this serious complication of myo- cardial infarction is discussed. HEIMILDIR 1. In order to bridge the time-gap between the decision to establish such a Com- mittee and its definitive formalization, it was determined at a WPA Executive committee. Meeting in New Delhi, India, in January 1978, to create two Working Groups; the „Legal Sub-Committee“ and the „Ad hoc Sub-Com- mittee of psychiatrists“, which were to carry out preliminary investigation into the methods appropriate for the composition, election and operation of such a body, and to deal with complaints regarding the political abuse of psychiatry, pending the creation of the defini- tive Committee. 5.
