Cystocarps in May and July, tetrasporangia in Feb-
ruary, May and October. On rocks and epiphytic on
Ahnfeltia plicata, Coccotylus truncatus, Corallina
officinalis, Furcellaria lumbricalis, Mastocarpus
stellatus and stipe of Laminaria hyperborea.
