Remarks: collected in April-July and September-
October. In shells of bamacles, molluscs and in tubes
of sertularid polychaetes. Previous records of
Gomontia polyrhiza (Lagerh.) Bomet & Flahault
(Børgesen 1902, Irvine 1982) were not supported by
culture studies and therefore remain uncertain (Nielsen
andCorrea, 1987).
