realize that great deal of credit is due these splendid ladies, who
give their time and talents so generously.
We must also remember that without the co-operation of tht
advertisers, publication would not be possible. We should bear that
in mind, and patronize them whenever the opportunity occurs, and
let them know that we appreciate their kindness. To all these, we
express our sincere gratitude.
What can be done to create more interest and raise the sales?
I would like to hear suggestions.
Perhaps new members on the committee would be advisable.
And while I am on that subject, I would like to say here that Mrs.
Benson and I wish to be released from our part of the work. We
will finish the 1955 issue. It is well under way now. This will be
our eighth year—which is too long to hold any office. Mrs. Benson
and I are very anxious (I am sure you all are) that ARDIS be kept
going as a Year Book, as long as the L.W. League will continue.
I feel safe in saying that whoever takes our task over, will find
it pleasant and rewarding work, and the ladies lovely to work with.
We will both be willing to give whatever assistance we can,
if needed.
