and made to feel this was their own beloved Sunrise Lutheran
Camp.
The service at the Cairn at the close of session followed by
Taps was impressive, an experience it is hoped will long remain in
the memory of each participant and bring back happy memories
of their stay at Sunrise Lutheran Camp.
It was admittedly disappointing that there were not as many
campers as anticipated, however, there were many new campers
from fifty three congregations, various denominations, but pre-
dominantly Lutheran.
I feel when the new set-up is better established the future
looks bright and as the camp gets to be known by all the partici-
pating congregations more people will be taking interest and part.
My personal impressions of Sunrise Lutheran Camp is that it is a
very fine establishment and plays an important part in the lives
of campers, counsellors and staff and that it serves as real a need
or more to day as when it was organized. God bless the memory
of all who made the camp possible and who are no longer with us.
May Sunrise Lutheran Camp always keep the banner high and
the purpose have far reaching benefits to the many to come.
