Marorka is a leading provider of energy management solutions for
the international shipping industry. Unlike most other organiza-
tions, rising energy prices, increasing environmental awareness and
tighter regulations are driving our business forwards. Our market
segment consists of some 19,000 ships, each of which consumes an
average of 2 tonnes of fuel oil per hour while sailing, resulting in
the release of 6 tonnes of CO2 per hour. The fuel costs $1500 per
hour – a total of around $7,000,000 per year. So improving energy
efficiency can result in huge financial and environmental savings.
We are a team of experienced C# programmers, applying many of
the XP practices, such as peer review, selective pair programming,
continuous integration and automated testing. We have several
years of experience with Scrum and a team of dedicated product
owners.
