Sqibb Hydroflumethiazide with Potassium Chloride
♦ 10 times more potent than chlorothiazide,
yet produces less potassium loss
♦ supplementary potassium provides added pro-
tection against potassium loss during longterm
therapy or when treating patients unusally prone
to hypokalemia
♦ provides a marked anthihypertensive effect in
mild and moderate hypertension
♦ potentiates the action of other antihypertensive
agents, permitting a reduction of dosage and
thereby lessenmg the seventy of side effects
♦ produces rapid (acts within 3 hours), yet
gentle, sustamed diuresis
♦ convement once-a-day dosage
♦ diurectic action ís as effective as with injectable
diuretics m comparable dosage
♦ makes possible a more liberal salt intake —
greater patient acceptance.
Supply: Di-Ademil-K Tablets, containing 50 mg. hydroflumethia-
zide with 625 mg. potassium chloride; bottles of 25.
