T-362 is described by Nydal et al. (1964). It is the first radiocarbon dating of an Icelandic shell sample.
Corrections for 13C/12C ratios and apparent age of living marine organisms could not be made for this
sample as necessary data for the corrections is not available. U-416 and U-417 are two datings of the same
sample, described and discussed by Olsson and Piyanuj (1965).

All samples are referred to 0.95 NBS oxalic acid standard, using the value of 5568 for the half life of 14C.
The base year is 1950. Corrections for 13C/12C ratios and apparent age of living marine organisms have been
made for all samples, using the reservoir age of 365±20 (Hákansson, 1983). All samples are described and
discussed by Hakansson (1986, 1987).
