Um höfundana
Gróa Valgerður Ingimundardóttir (f. 1981) lauk B.Sc.-
prófi í líffræði frá Háskóla Íslands 2004 og 4. árs námi í
grasafræði við sama skóla 2008. Hún starfaði á
Líffræðistofnun Háskólans á árunum 2002–2005 og
hefur starfað á Náttúrufræðistofnun Íslands frá árinu
2005.
Kesara Anamthawat-Jónsson (f. 1951) lauk B.Sc.-prófi í
grasafræði frá Chulalongkorn-háskóla í Taílandi 1973,
M.A.-prófi í grasafræði frá Kansas-háskóla í Bandaríkjun-
um 1979 og Ph.D.-prófi í grasafræði frá Cambridge-
háskóla í Bretlandi 1992. Hún var lektor við Chulalong-
korn-háskóla 1973–1982 og starfaði við Rannsóknastofnun
landbúnaðarins 1982–1996 að undanskildum árunum
1988–1992 er hún lauk doktorsmámi. Hún hefur starfað
við Raunvísindadeild Háskóla Íslands frá 1996, þar af sem
prófessor í grasafræði og plöntuerfðafræði frá árinu 1999.
Hörður Kristinsson (f. 1937) lauk dr.rer.nat.-prófi í grasa-
fræði frá háskólanum í Göttingen í Vestur-Þýskalandi
1966. Hann starfaði við Duke-háskóla í Bandaríkjunum
1967–1970, var sérfræðingur við Náttúrugripasafnið á
Akureyri 1970–1977, stundakennari við Háskóla Íslands
frá 1971 og prófessor í grasafræði við sama skóla 1977–
1987, forstöðumaður Náttúrufræðistofnunar Norðurlands,
síðar Akureyrarseturs Náttúrufræðistofnunar Íslands
1987–1999. Hann hefur starfað sem sérfræðingur í grasa-
fræði á Náttúrufræðistofnun Íslands frá árinu 1993.
