We are looking to recruit a well-organized, and highly motivated individual to be part of and team
lead of atNorth’s NOC (Network Operation Center).
About the position
In this role you will lead a team of 24/7 NOC staff with focus on building up technical knowledge
base, processes/routines and staff shift planning. The NOC team is responsible for monitoring
ticket handling and follow-up for all our three sites.
You will work closely with and keep the Data Center Manager informed about the network status.
We are ISO 27001 certified, on the road to 14001 and with international exposure.
Main responsibilities:
• Making/planning staff shift for 24/7 operations of the NOC.
• Responsible for building up know how in the NOC and extract information needed
for NOC knowledge base.
• Be part of the NOC staff taking shifts.
NOC responsibilities:
• Customer service request tickets monitoring and dispatching.
• Monitoring and first response to events.
• Analyze events and perform troubleshooting and incident response on the systems.
• Communicate with site technicians or third parties responsible for resolution.
• Customer communications during events.
• Track issues through to resolution.
• Off hour onsite security.
Skills and experience:
• Technical education and background/understanding, preferably basic knowledge
of data center and/or IT architecture.
• User experience with monitoring tools, ITSM tools.
• Knowledge of service subject matter and business processes.
• Knowledge of incident models, diagnostic tools and methods.
• Leadership skills.
• Experience from planning and scheduling shifts preferred.
• Analytical skills.
• Communication skills, English (verbal and written).
