berast út í lífholið.
Samandregið
Sagt er frá konu, sem getnaðarvarnarljrkkja var sett upp i
legið hjá, en síðan varð harnshafandi og ól eðlilega fullhurða
barn. Lvkkjan kom ekki fram eftir fæðinguna, og síðan varð
konan aftur barnshafandi. Rannsókn með röntgenmyndum
sýndi lykkjuna vera utan við legið neðan til í lífiliolinu. Yið
holskurð kom i ljós, að lykkjan var gróin inn í netjuna og var
hún tekin.

Short history of I.U.D. and some references to the most serious
complications recently referred to in the medical literature.
Presented one case where a Lippes Loop had perforated the uterus
and Was inplanted in the omentum. Two pregnancies after the per-
foration, the first an uneventful fullterm delivery of a living babys, the
second pregnancy a legal abortion.
