qualities we are seeking in the individuals who will staff our new luxury hotel and spa. As a service
representative at the Retreat at Blue Lagoon Iceland, you will become part of a team that thrives on
warmth and sophistication—creating the conditions for extraordinary guest experiences.
Each host facilitates unforgettable
guest experiences throughout
the Retreat. The host becomes
an integral part of each guest’s
journey—greeting them, guiding
them, and advising them for the
duration of their stay.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a customer-
focused environment
• Excellent people and
communication skills
The guest agent arranges for airport
transportation, welcomes the guest,
provides valet service, delivers
luggage to the guest’s room, and
gives ongoing guest support.

• Valid Icelandic driver’s license
A guest relations representative
is the initial contact person and
advisor for guests who will be
coming to the Retreat. They confer
with the guest before their arrival,
both providing and gathering
information—data that the host will
then use to create an itinerary for
the guest’s upcoming journey.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a customer-
focused environment
• Excellent organization and
communication skills
A housekeeper ensures the
cleanliness and order of all suites
at the Retreat.
Qualifications:
• Extremely detail oriented
• Previous experience in
housekeeping or cleaning
Each cleaner ensures that all
public areas at the Retreat are tidy,
spotless, and immaculate.

The spa host facilitates unforgettable
guest wellness experiences at the
Retreat spa. The host becomes an
integral part of each guest’s spa
journey—greeting them, advising
them, and introducing them to the
spa’s many possibilities for radiance
and wellbeing.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a customer-
focused environment
• Excellent people and
communication skills
The spa supervisor is ultimately
responsible for coordinating the
spa’s daily operations. This individual
serves as both a leader and a role
model—setting high standards
for appearance, work ethic, and
dedication.
Qualifications:
• At least one year of experience in
a supervisory role in hospitality
• Excellent leadership skills
• Excellent organization and
communication skills
Each lifeguard ensures the safety
of all guests at the Retreat spa.
A position that demands extreme
focus, the lifeguard must be alert
and intrinsically proactive at all
times.
Qualifications:
• Attentive and observant
• Excellent swimmer
