2. A reservation incom-
patible with the object and pur-
pose of the present Convention
shall not be permitted.
3. Reservations may be with-
đrawn at any time by notiflca-
tion to that effect addressed to
the Secretary-General of the
United Nations, who shall then
inform all States. Such notifica-
tion shall take effect on the date
on which it is received by the
Secretary-General.
Article 52
A State Party may denounce
the present Convention by
written notification to the Sec-
retary-General of the United
Nations. Denunciation be-
comes effective one year after
the date of receipt of the notifi-
cation by the Secretary-
Qeneral.
Article 53
The Secretary-General of the
United Nations is designated
as the depositary of the present
Convention.
Article 54
The original of the present
Convention, of which the
Arabic, Chinese, English,
French, Russian and Spanish
texts are equally authentic,
shall be deposited with the Sec-
retary-General of the United
Nations.
In witness thereof the under-
signed plenipotentiaries, being
duly authorized thereto by
their respective Govemments,
have signed the present Con-
vention.
2. Aucune reserve incompa-
tible avec l’objet et le but de la
presente Convention n’est
autorisee.
3. Les reserves peuvent etre
retirees á tout moment par noti-
fication adressee au Secretaire
general de l’Organisation des
Nations Unies, lequel en in-
forme tous les Etats parties á Ia
Convention. La notification
prend effet á la date á Iaquelle
elle est re^ue par Ie Secretaire
general.
Article 52
Tout Etat partie peut denon-
cer la presente Convention par
notification ecrite adressee au
Secretaire general de l’Organi-
sation des Nations Unies. La
denonciation prend effet un an
apres la date á laquelle la noti-
fication a ete re^ue par le Secre-
taire general.
Article 53
Le Secretaire general de
l’Organisation des Nations
Unies est designe comme depo-
sitaire de la presente Conven-
tion.
Article 54
L’original de la presente
Convention, dont les textes an-
glais, arabe, chinois, espagnol,
fran^ais et russe font egalement
foi, sera depose aupres du Se-
cretaire general de l’Organisa-
tion des Nations Unies.
En foi de quoi les plenipo-
tentiaires soussignes, dument
habilites par leurs gouveme-
ments respectifs, ont signe la
presente Convention.
2. Et forbehold, der er ufor-
eneligt med denne konventions
hensigt og formál, skal ikke til-
lades.
3. Forbehold kan til enhver
tid trækkes tilbage ved medde-
lelse herom til De Forenede
Nationers Generalsekretær,
som derefter skal give medđe-
lelse derom til alle stater. En sá-
dan meddelelse træder i kraft
den dag, hvor den modtages af
Generalsekretæren.
Artikel 52
En deitagerstat kan opsige
denne konvention ved skriftlig
meddelelse til De Foreneđe
Nationers Generalsekretær.
Opsigelsen træder i kraft et ár
efter den dag, hvor Generalse-
kretæren har modtaget denne.
Artikel 53
De Foreneđe Nationers Ge-
neralsekretær er udpeget til de-
positar for denne konvention.
Artikel 54
Originalen af denne konven-
tion, hvis arabiske, kinesiske,
engelske, franske, mssiske og
spanske tekster har lige gyldig-
hed, deponeres hos De Forene-
de Nationers Generalsekretær.
Til bekræftelse heraf har un-
dertegneđe befuldmægtigede,
der af deres respektive regerin-
ger er behørigt bemyndiget her-
til, undertegnet denne konven-
tion.
