Meiseclin —methaqualone hydrochioride — is a non-barbiturate
hypnotic which produces naturai sleep. It is of low toxicity, is often
effective where other hypnotics have faited, and síde-effects are
negligible. Melsedin acts within 15-30- minutes and its effect lasts
for 6-8 hours. Neither tolerance nor addiction to Melsedin has
been demonstrated.
