lýsa, hvernig tölvutækni er beitt við söfn-
un, geymslu og miðlun upplýsinga á
sjúkrahúsum. Að dómi höfundar mun þró-
un á þessu sviði enn verða mikil, einkum
hvað varðar sjálfvirkni mælinga og virkj-
un einstaklinganna sjálfra við upplýsinga-
söfnun.8
