Blóðþrýstingsfall eykst, svo og tíðni
blóðþrýstingsfalls með auknum aldri og virðist
vera vendipunktur um 45 ára aldurinn, sem
kemur vel heim og saman við niðurstöður
annarra.
Auk þessa er er gerð sérstaklega grein fyrir
deyfingum fyrir keisaraaðgerðir og bornir saman
sjúklingar sem deyfðir voru fyrir slíkar aðgerðir
við jafnaldra sína. Fjallað er um notkun
hryggdeyfingarleggja og notagildi þeirra.
