Specialist doctors required in
Region Vástra Götaland, Sweden
Region Vastra Götaland is responsible for providing its
1,5 million inhabitants of Vastra Götaland with health-
care and medical treatment. This is provided by 17
hospitals, 138 healthcare centres and 170 public dental
care centres. Some 45 000 people work in health and
medical care within a budget framework of SEK 35
billion.
Our hospitals and health care centers constantly face
new challenges - new treatments appear and people's
demand on health care increase.
We now look for trained specialists - mostly within the
following specialities.
Anesthesia
General Medicine
Gynaecology
Internal medicin
Neurology
Orthopedics
Psychiatry
Urology
A number of lcelandic physicians have already taken
up work in our health care organization. They are all
considered very competent and have become respected
members of the staff. We feel that they could easily
adjust themselves to Swedish society and our health care
culture.
If you are interested in working in our region we can

opportunities. There is a choice between employment in
big cities like Göteborg or in smaller cities throughout
the Region Vastra Götaland.
