aeromagnetic data were collected by Þorbjöm Sig-
urgeirsson at the University of Iceland Science Insti-
tute in 1968-1980. Leó Kristjánsson and others
(1989) reprocessed these measurements and added
several lines flown in 1985-86. The seismic data
were compiled at the University of Iceland Science
Institute by Páll Einarsson.
The Icelandic Science Foundation has funded a
Part of the interpretation work described in this
Paper. Most of the research was carried out at Orku-
stofnun using the computer facilities provided there,
while some was carried out at the Commercial Col-
lege of Iceland’s School of Computer Studies
(Tölvuháskóli Verzlunarskóla íslands) using their
facilities.
