Leikskólinn Fossakot auglýsir eftir leikskólakennara
eða öðru uppeldismenntuðu starfsfólki til starfa
núna eða eftir samkomulagi.
Um er að ræða 2 stöðugildi. Fossakot er einkarekinn
3ja deilda leikskóli sem opnaði 1997. Fossakot legg-
ur áherslur á skapandi starf, frjálsan leik, jákvæðan
aga og náttúrutengsl í starfinu. Fossakot er við Fossa-
leyni 4 í Grafarvogi.

Role description:
The EFTA Surveillance Authority shall recruit a Director to lead its Internal Market Affairs
Directorate.
The Directorate is responsible for the surveillance of the implementation and application
by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway of their obligations under the EEA Agreement in the
fields of free movement of goods, persons, services, capital movements and horizontal
policies.
Essential:
l University degree in law, economics or equivalent.
l Extensive relevant experience in a position of responsibility in a Ministry, national
authority, international organisation or comparable body in the public or private sector.
l Management skills. Ability to manage an in ternational professional team of 30 staff.
l Extensive experience in and broad knowledge of the fields for which the Directorate is
responsible. Very good knowledge of the legal framework of the European Union and of
the European Economic Area.
l Good understanding of the legal system, institutions and governments of the EEA EFTA
States.
l Excellent oral and written command of English as well as of German, Icelandic or
Norwegian.
Conditions
The position is placed at grade A6 of the salary scale, starting at € 111.675,48 per year.
Appointments are normally made at Step 1 of a grade. A higher step can be considered on
the basis of the candidate's qualifications and experience. Depending on, inter alia, the
candidate’s family status, allowances and benefits may apply. Favorable tax conditions

While its staff members shall normally be nationals of one of the three EFTA States party
to the EEA Agreement, the Authority will also consider other applications, primarily those
of nationals of the other States that are party to the EEA Agreement.

The EFTA Surveillance Authority monitors compliance with European Economic Area rules in Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, enabling them to participate in the European internal
market. In monitoring and enforcing the EEA Agreement, the Authority has powers that correspond to those of the European Commission. The Authority is based in Brussels and operates
independently of the EFTA States. The Authority is led by a College which consists of three members appointed by the EEA EFTA States. The Directors report to the College.
