LÆKNABLAÐIÐ 1994; 80 463 ekki sjálfstæðir þættir hvað varðar horfur þá er meira um mislitna æxli í þeim vefjagerðum sem hafa verri horfur og einnig er S-fasinn þar hærri. Sums staðar eru niðurstöður úr flæði- greiningu notaðar til að ákvarða meðferð. Á grundvelli þeirra niðurstaðna sem fengust í þessari rannsókn er varla hægt að búast við að flæðigreining verði ákvarðandi þáttur um með- ferð hjá sjúklingum með skjaldkirtilskrabba- mein hér á landi.
