Conveying
Klaki have been specialists in belt conveying for 20
years. They manufacture a wide range of machinery for
the fisheries industry that not only meets today's
demanding standards, but also helps set those
standards. A few examples.
Our Newest Design
Vertical Conveyor Elevator: This revolutionary space
saving conveyor, ideal for on-board processing, re-
places standard inclined conveyors. One type for fresh
fish, another for unloading boxes of frozen product
weighing up to 30 kg. Several features:
• Vertical transport saves valuable space: Needs only
0.5 m2.
• Intake can be just 20 cm from the floor. Only 30 cm
clearance is needed for the product to exit.
• Handles fresh fish ranging in size from herring to
cod, red fish and Greenland halibut.
• Flexible rubber flippers are designed to gently trans-
port fish, even if it siides between flipper and siding.
• 10- to 12-ton hourly capacity.
• Tests prove that the Vertical Conveyor Elevator is
gentler to the product.
Other recent designs
Telescopic Conveyor: Hooked to a revolving feeder,
the motorized telescopic conveyor transports fresh fish
in the hold for icing, even up into corners. Extending to
a maximum of 5 meters, it saves manpower, is easy to
operate and greatly reduces possibility of back injury
(80% of on-board injuries are back related).
Value for Money System: Designed for small boats,
the low-cost system includes an on-deck washer, deck-
to-hold conveyor, and screw tube for transporting ice.
Gutting Table: Fish are kept at the correct height by
a moveable plate regulated by air pressure.
Salt Landing System: From ship to land.
