fríu stáli. Öll tækin eru hönnuö
þannig aö þrif séu sem auð-
veldust, jafnframt því sem tæk-
in eru örugg og einföld í notkun.

Machine workshop
96% of the products from
Gneisti’s machine shop are
made from stainless steel. All
the machines are designed
for easy cleaning as well as
safety and simplicity in use.
Gneisti’s services include
designing and professional
advice on working structure
and installation. They build
according to the customer’s
needs and ideas, and the cus-
tomer’s opinions are respect-
ed. All the designing expens-
es are kept to a minimum.
Most of Gneisti’s work is
connected to the fishing in-
dustry. Amongst other things
Gneisti makes: washing tubs,
conveyor belts and produc-
tion-lines etc.
Gneisti has designed and
developed the so called
„brush machine” for cleaning
salt fish. This machine simpli-
fies and accelerates the work-

ity of 1500 fish per hour and
therefore economizes on man
power. The fish goes directly
from the filleting machine to
the brushing machine and
then into the washing tub.
With the use of this machine
hygiene is a priority as there is
clean water running constant-
ly over the brushes and the
fish. The price of this ma-
chine, like all Gneisti’s prod-
ucts, is kept reasonable. In
most cases the machine pays
for itself within a month.
Gneisti has sold more than
100 of these machines, 40 of
which were sold to Norway,
Denmark and Greenland.

ents and the exhibition’s
