Að öðru leyti nær ritaskráin yfir
bækur og greinar, sem beint eða óbeint
er vísað til í textanum, en að auki fylgir
sérstök skrá yfir bækur um „nýju jarð-
fræöina,“ mönnum til glöggvunar. Við
samningu erindisins studdist ég einkum
við hina mjög svo handhægu bók Allans
Cox (1973), þar sem endurprentaðar eru
ýmsar tímamótagreinar fræðanna, og
tengdar saman með stuttum yfirlits-
greinum Cox sjálfs.
