Substrate: hard bottom, sand, gravel
Temperature: 7.0° - 7.9°C (estimated)
Water mass: AW
World distribution: Morocco, the Azores, west of the
Hebrides, south and west of Ireland (Bell 1892),
the Rockall Trough (Clark and Downey 1992).
World bathymetrical range: 400 - 5,410 m.
Remarks: This is the first record of the species so far
north as the Faroes. The individuals were small
(R=25 mm).
