Samey hf. is a young elec-
trical engineering company
which designs, manufactur-
ers and sells electrical-and
electronic-equipment, pri-
marily for the fishing indus-
try.
The „fish trimming line lamp“
SNL218 is used both here
and abroad, on production
lines for fish trimming and
quality control.
Samey hf. has recently
marketed the Datalogger
M-15 for electricity. This da-
taloggger measures:
-voltages (RMS) of each of
the 3 phases,
-phase angle of three-phase
systems,
- currents (RMS) in 15 out-
lets,
- mean power for specific
time period,
- temperature.
In the new year Samey will
market a new electrical sup-
ply system which gives
3x380/220v 50/60 Hz
through a generator directly
connected to a ship„s main
engine. The new „Hz inver-
ter“ provides a constant fre-
quency even though the
generator connected to the
main engine operates on in-
consistant revolutions.

SNL-218A Para Lamp (candling light) — An encased
dual-light fixture specifically designed to illuminate
fish fillets on trimming lines. lts flat design provides
excellent illumination, even when the operator is
sitting. The lamp is placed colse to the cutting plate
to enhance efficiency, and is easily removed for
cleaning. Over 5,000 units have been sold world-
