CIDEX removes all doubt.
CIDEX is a 2% aqueous solution of
glutaraldehyde with a wide spectrum of
cidal activity and very rapid action.
CIDEX kills tubercle bacilli in less than
ten minutes and destroys all other
bacteria in under two minutes. All
pathogenic spores are killed within
three hours.
Being in aqueous solution CIDEX does
not damage lensed instruments, nor
CIDEX
does it affect plastic, rubber or
aluminium. It is, in fact, less corrosive
than distilled waterand can actually
prolong the life of delicate instruments
Supplied in 1 -gallon plasticjugs with
separate container of buffer powder.
CIDEX is stable, with prolonged shelf
life. After activation it maintains peak
potency for at least two weeks.
