Skólastjóri Tónlistarskóla Rangæinga Stjórn Tónlistarskóla Rangæinga bs. auglýsir lausa stöðu skólastjóra við Tónlistarskóla Rangæinga frá og með 1. ágúst 2020. Aðalskrifstofa skólans er á Hvolsvelli, en kennsla fer fram á Hvolsvelli, Hellu og Laugalandi. Skólinn býður upp á grunn-, mið- og framhaldsnám í hljóðfæraleik. Alls stunda 352 nemendur nám við skólann og þar af eru 182 grunnskólanemendur í forskólanámi við skólann. Helstu verkefni og ábyrðarsvið • Stjórnun og ábyrgð á rekstri skólans og daglegri starfsemi • Fagleg forysta á sviði kennslu og þróunar í skólastarfi Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur • Framhaldsmenntun á sviði tónlistar • Reynsla af tónlistarkennslu og tónlistarflutningi • Reynsla í stjórnun og rekstri er áskilin • Leiðtogahæfileikar og færni í mannlegum samskiptum Umsókn um starfið skal fylgja ítarleg ferilsskrá ásamt greinargerð með rökstuðningi fyrir hæfni viðkomandi til starfans. We’re looking for a surveyor to join our team in Iceland We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced surveyor who will be Lloyd’s Register’s focal point of contact for operations in Iceland. The surveyor will be based in our office in Reykjavik but travel within the area will be required. Job responsibilities: - As a Surveyor your role will be to perform periodical and statutory surveys on board existing ships and fishing trawlers/vessels in accordance with applicable Rules & Regulations, Statutory instruments and respective codes. A thorough knowledge of the Torremolinos Code as utilised on Small Fishing Vessels (SFV) is expected. - Carry out reporting in an accurate and timely manner and ensure that the reporting is both technically and legally correct. - Offer extensive advice, and applicable consultancy in areas of modern marine machinery as used on trawlers. Job requirements: - A degree or equivalent from a tertiary organisation recognised by Lloyd’s Register within the field of engineering, and /or qualifications from a marine or nautical institution. Previous sea-going experience is a distinct advantage, especially on sea-going trawlers as a certified engineer. - To be aware of the marine business acumen, both in the developing of existing business and reaching for new opportunities. - Good knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate effectively (both oral and written); - Icelandic is a prerequisite for any applicant. - IT literate with good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Package What we can offer: - An interesting and challenging job in an international environment - Competitive salary - Comprehensive training and career development Interested?
