anna Debes Dahl (* Vestmanna, Nov. 24, 1947) describes
school life in Tórshavn through the eyes of two schoolboys,
Rói from Tórshavn and Karl, who has come back from
South America, where he had lived with his parents for
some years. This edition is an englished version of Debes
Dahl's novel "Skilnaður", Tórshavn 1981>

Marianna Debes Dahl. * Nov. 24, 1947, Vestmanna.
Faroese teacher, joumalist, writer. Dahl became known as a
prolific writer of books for children and young readers. She
also worked as a script-writer and director for the Faroese
television company, Utvarp Føroya and as an editor of the
Faroese newspaper "Fríu Føroyar''
