dered to be this species by the obser-
vers, are treated as Chlidonias species,
as there is inadequate evidence for posi-
tive species identification.
7. Crested Auklet (Aethia cristatella).
One record in August 1912, the only
one in Europe, about 45 nautical miles
eastnortheast off Langanes, NE Ice-
land.
