Deaths from tuberculosis this year are classified as follows (last
year’s figures in round brackets): Pulmonary tuberculosis 3 (2),
tuberculosis of central nervous system 0 (0), tuberculosis of intestines
0 (0), tuberculosis of the urinary and generative organs 0 (0). The
death rate from tuberculosis was: 0.02 (0.01) per 1000 of the popula-
tion.

Monthly notification of hydatid disease has now been discontinued,
but in the annual report on the disease, which comprises all medical
districts in this country, 8 cases are reported, all of them old people,
only with some or other remains of the disease.
