Minningarsjóður Hjálmars R. Bárðarsonar og Else S. Bárðarson
auglýsir rannsóknastyrki í landgræðslu og skógrækt, með
sérstakri áherslu á vistfræði lúpínu og landgræðsluskógrækt
með lúpínu.
Til úthlutunar verða samtals 4 milljónir króna. Styrkirnir eru
lausir til umsóknar frá og með 1. desember 2010 og umsóknum
skal skilað eigi síðar en 10. janúar 2011.
Umsóknareyðublöð er að finna á heimasíðum Landgræðslu
ríkisins (land.is), Skógræktar ríkisins (skogur.is) og Skóg-
ræktarfélags Íslands (skog.is). Umsókn ásamt fylgigögnum skal
skila í einu pappírseintaki og á tölvutæku formi (á geisladiski
sem rtf, pdf eða word skjal). Ófullgerðum umsóknum verður
vísað frá.
Umsóknum skal skila til: Landgræðslusjóðs, Skúlatúni 6, 105
Reykjavík. Skrifa skal skýrt á umslag: „Minningarsjóður
Hjálmars R. Bárðarsonar og Else S. Bárðarson“.

Power plant Engineer
Job description:
Supervise, analyze and update data concerning
aircraft power plants. Monitor and supervise power
plant repairs and various other tasks that falls under
the power plant department.
Education and Qualifications:
• Must hold an Aircraft Technician license or an
Engineering degree.
• Extremely good English skills both verbal and
writing.
• Independent, incentive and disciplined work
methods.
• Good computer knowledge.
• Able to represent technical data.
• Good communication skills.
Structural repairs, assessment and
review
Job description:
Review and assessment of structural repairs carried
out on Air Atlanta aircraft. Preparation of task cards
and entry of structural repairs data into Air Atlanta
computer system. Follow-up on repetitive structural
repairs and performance of other duties as required
by Engineering department.
Education and Qualifications:
• Hold Aircraft Technician license or completed
University degree in Engineering.
• Excellent knowledge in English language.
• Good communication skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Good communication skills.
Airworthiness Directives / Service
Bulletins assessment staff
Job description:
Monitor issuance of Airworthiness Directives issued
by country of Type Certificate registry for aircraft /
engines and appliance. Review of Service Bulletins
and instructions issued by manufacturers. Preparation
of task cards and entry of data into Air Atlanta
computer system and performance of other duties as
required by Engineering department.
Education and Qualifications:
• Hold Aircraft Technician license or completed
University degree in Engineering
• Excellent knowledge in English language, written
and spoken.
• Good communication skills.
• Good general computer skills.
• Able to work independently.
