Jrem = 8 A/m. Jafnsver lína á neðri myndinni sýnir hæðarsnið. Brotnir ferlar endurspegla reiknað segulsvið miðað við að
miðhluti öskjunnar hafi sokkið um a: 1 km, b: 2 km og c: 3 km. Í tilfellum b og c er gert ráð fyrir minna segulmögnuðu bergi,
Jrem = 6 A/m. Grá bolla sýnir kvikuhólf sem túlka má út frá skjálftagögnum (Ólafur Guðmundsson o.fl. 1994)
