Olína Freysteinsdottir (olina@unak.is) is a project manager (University of Akureyri
Research Centre) and a family therapist. Research interests: Family studies and
parenting.
Halldor S. Gudmundsson (halldorg@hi.is) is a lecturer at the University of Iceland.
Research area: Welfare service, screening and assessment, child protection, social
work, evidence based policy and practice.
Kjartan Olafsson (kjartan@unak.is) is a lecturer at the University of Akureyri and a
visiting researcher at both Masaryk University in the Czech Republic and the London
School of Economics and Political Science in the UK. He has for many years studied
children’s media use and been involved in some of the largest European studies in
that area.
