vísindaleg þekking á þörfum íslenska hestsins er mjög nauðsynleg, m.a. til þess að honum líði
vel við þær aðstæður sem honum eru búnar hér á landi og til þess að mæta öfgafullum
hugmyndum sumra um hvað hestinum sé fyrir bestu með rökum.
