Lystisemdir Sjanghæ Sjanghæ, borgin við mynni Yangtze-fljóts, er stærsta borg alþýðulýðveldisins Kína. Vöxtur er ör og borgin hefur tekið stakkaskiptum eftir að efnahagsþróun þessa stórveldis í austri hófst seint á síðustu öld.
