Tímarit Hins íslenska náttúrufræðifélags ÞáKKAROIŒ) Fyrst og fremst vil ég þakka Ruth Nielsen fyrir ánægjulega samvinnu um þörungarannsóknirnar í Færeyjum á árunum 1994 til 1999. Einnig þakka ég samstarfsmönnum og vinum á Kalbak-rannsóknastofunni, þeim Astrid Andreasen, Grethe Bruntse, Gunnar Djurhuus, Bjorki Geiti, Tor Eiliv Lein, Arne Norrevang, Lena Reinert og Jan Sorensen, og öllum þeim Færeyingum sem hafa aðstoðað mig í mörgum ferðum mínum til rannsókna í Færeyjum.
