Sykehuset dekker befolkningen i hele Telemark fylke, sor
i Norge, med kystbyen Kragero i sar og Rjukan med
Gaustatoppen i nord. De storste byene i fylket er Skien og
Porsgrunn, som ligger i omrádene i sor, med ca. 100.000
innbyggere. Sykehuset Telemark har ca 3 500 ansatte og
har alle vanlige spesialisthelsetjenester innen somatikk
og psykiatri. Vi legger til rette for forskning og utvikling.
Arbeidsspráket er skandinavisk. Vi er behjelpelig med
bolig og barnehage.
Det er gode kommunikasjoner til Oslo og til kontinentet.
Mellom Skien og Oslo er det 130 km (under 2 t. med bil).
Sykehuset har god bemanning, men onsker á styrke
fagomrádene.
Vi soker flere legespesialister/overleger innen omrádene:
- psykiatri (innen voksenpsykiatri og barne- og
ungdomspsykiatri)
- urologi
- plastikkirurgi
- gastroenterologisk kirurgi
- ortopedi
- patologi
