Magnús Á. Sigurgeirsson (f. 1963) lauk B.Sc.-prófi í
jarðfærði frá Háskóla Íslands 1989 og M.Sc.-prófi frá
sama skóla 1992. Hann hefur starfað sem sérfræðingur
hjá Íslenskum orkurannsóknum (ÍSOR) síðan 2007.
Magnús hefur um langt árabil unnið við athuganir á
gjóskulögum í tengslum við fornleifarannsóknir.
